[Kernersville Public Email Notification]

As you know, the Town of Kernersville has a number of Boards and Commissions that have been established to advise the Board of Aldermen and staff on a variety of issues in conducting town business.  It is the desire of the Board of Aldermen to have a diverse representation of citizens serving on these boards.  Each year, we actively advertise these volunteer opportunities to allow anyone interested in serving to submit their application.

Applicants must reside inside town limits or outside town limits but within the Town's Extraterritorial Zoning Jurisdiction (ETJ).  Areas included in the ETJ: Cliffwood, Hidden Hills, Apple Gate, Ingram Estates, Chelsea Place, Kings Ridge, Macy Grove Road, Fox Run, Danay Drive, Tannelson Drive, and Valley Village.  If you have questions about whether you live in the ETJ or not please call the Community Development Department at 992-0605.
