You're invited to register/attend a cybersecurity class titled Cybersecurity for Business Executives (CYB-201) that is being offered as part of a grant received by the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management office.  The registration process is a bit lengthy but necessary for tracking purposes.

Class registrations are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis so please register as soon as possible.

Here's an overview of the process:

  1. 2.       Provide the required information and click Continue.  Follow remaining prompts to complete the account setup.

Time / Date / Location:  Fri, May 8, 2020; 8a-12p (4 hrs.) at Forsyth County Government Center


4.       Scroll to the bottom of the web page and click the I want to register button.

5.       In the freeform box, briefly describe how your job responsibilities relate to the course, verify your contact information, read/agree to the training policies and procedures, and click Submit.

Please note that all class registrants are automatically placed on the Waitlist.  The Emergency Management office reviews and approves all class registrations requests.  You'll receive an email upon approval.

Once approved, you'll need a FEMA/SID number to attend the class.  Do the following to obtain a FEMA/SID number:


1.       Click this link to go to the FEMA web page: cdp.dhs.gov/femasid<https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid>

2.       Click on the link Register for a FEMA SID on the website menu bar. It's near the top of the webpage, toward the right side.

3.       Complete required fields as prompted, agree to the privacy statement, and click the Register button at the bottom of the page to complete the registration.

4.       You should receive an email with your FEMA/SID shortly thereafter.  You'll need this on the day of the class.
